Atlanta Advanced Guitar Lessons
Sid Wolf
Do you want to develop your ability on the guitar in any of the following?

  1. Improvise freely and melodically, in single notes and chords, over chord progressions found in Jazz, Blues, Rock, Bluegrass, Funk and other styles.
  2. Create your own solo guitar arrangement of virtually any song.
  3. Play whatever you "hear".
  4. Transcribe the guitar parts and solos from your favorite recordings.
  5. Expand your chord vocabulary and develop the necessary knowledge to use it effectively.
  6. Improve your technical proficiency - pickstyle, fingerstyle, right-hand left-hand synchronization, tone, articulation, speed.
  7. Develop a stronger knowledge of chord-scale relationships.
I have a limited number of openings for intermediate to advanced guitar students who want to make real progress.  Many of my former students currently play at the professional level, and some of them play in internationally known bands.  So could you, if you develop a solid foundation.  I have received countless emails and letters from my students thanking me for helping them build a base foundation from which they could launch a thriving career.  I can help you find your "voice" on the guitar.

If you've been taking lessons from a guitar player who seems to play great but can't really help you to progress, then I invite you to come and experience the real deal.  I will help you become the guitarist you want to be.

In addition to performing for many public and private functions, in clubs, and in concert venues for over 30 years, I have taught guitar students in a college environment, private teaching studios, and vocational music schools.

For seven years I was on the faculty of the Atlanta Institute of Music (AIM), where I taught classes in Scales, Classical Guitar, Jazz and Rock Styles, and more.  I designed curriculum for most of these classes and was consistently rated one of the most popular instructors by the students.

I have studied with and participated in Master Classes with quite a few notable artists including: Shawn Lane; John Scofield; Wayne Krantz; Mike Stern; Scott Henderson; Herb Ellis; Steve Morse; Peter Erskine; Paul Gilbert; Michael Manring; Dizzy Gillespie; Tony Macalpine; Christopher Parkening; Benjamin Verdery; Dave Weckl and Jason Becker.

Please check out some examples of my playing on the EPK page of my website http://www.sidwolf.com/.  You can also find my performance schedule on the site.

My schedule is Monday from 1 pm to 9 pm and Tuesday from 1 pm to 7 pm.
